Episode 2 of MSCtv Binbrook Triathlon Race Preview and Training Video

We are very pleased to publish the next episode of MSCtv. Tommy Ferris of Ignition Fitness has put together a course overview of a race from each race weekend and, more importantly, valuable tips and training workouts to prepare you for those races. This is a tremendous tool to get you race ready!

For the Binbrook Triathlon, Ignition Fitness head coach Tommy Ferris takes you through a strength training workout he’s designed specifically to help make sure you’re ready for the many tricky terrain changes you’ll find in the first and last 1.25km of the Recharge With Milk Binbrook triathlon and duathlon run courses. When racing off road courses like this it’s crucial that you have a strong core and stabilizer muscles in your legs and ankles, and this workout will help you target everything! You’ll start with four variations of the one-legged squat, move on next to a suspended rear lunge, and finish with one-legged matrix jumps. This workout will benefit anyone training for an off-road run course!

There will be a video preview of all the races in the series this year courtesy of Ignition Fitness. To see the videos please visit MSCtv.

Support Joe’s Team

[msa_aid=31]

MultiSport Canada has been working with Joe’s Team since they first approached us in 2007. That year we used our race in Gravenhurst to raise funds for the Princess Margarent Hospital Foundation (PMHF). Since then we have collaborated with the PMHF in producing the Joe’s Team Triathlon on Lake Joe. In 2013 we have identified Woodstock and Binbrook as Joe’s Team affiliate races. Support the PMHF.
