With February there may not be a ton of races but it sure is a busy month. We have Chinese New Year, Family Day, Valentines Day, Black History Month, and for our University students there is Reading Week. Regardless, it is time get out of winter hibernation and start training. Especially if the Welland Half Irondistance is on your schedule. Our upcoming race schedule is chock full of events for everyone, and with lots of cool and exciting features. In this issue we will look at some of those features that make the MultiSport Canada Series unique, and of course interesting articles from our coaches and sponsors. Enjoy!

This edition of the newsletter get's you primed and ready for the holiday season. Our series sponsors have a bunch of deals to take advantage of, our coaches give some more excellent advice, we offer some gift ideas, and there is some more updates from the triathlon and running series.
November 2009
In this month's newsletter we acknowledge our Series Award winners, introduce our exciting and new MultiSport Canada Community site on Ning - make sure to sign up today and introduce two new races to the series. The 2010 season kicks off at the new Woodstock site, and we've added a Half Iron Triathlon and Duathlon in Welland. Things don't stop there; Simon Whitfield will be making an appearance at Gears to sign his new book, and our sponsors and coaches have some great deals to take advantage of. Make sure to also check out our new Buy and Sell section. Enjoy this issue, there is more to come in December.

This month's newsletter kicks off the off-season theme with a few articles from Adam Johnston and Richard Pady, that encourage you to consider using the off-season to improve your cycling. Richard also gives you a chance to win 6 months of free coaching from him - courtesy of Healthy Results Training. Speaking of coaching, we have re-posted Nigel Gray's Ask the Pro article on "Why should I get a coach?" since some of you who use Explorer as a browser, experienced difficulty accessing the article.
