Information about Triathlon Clubs
Being a member of a Triathlon club is an excellent way to learn more about the sport, training and to meet new people. If you are looking for a club we have listed several of them below. You can also read about our Clubs and Coaches Reward Program.

University of Western Ontario Triathlon Club - The UWO Triathlon Club was established in 1992. A group of triathletes of abilities ranging from novice to elite national level athletes began by organizing a seminar on campus with the National Team coach. The goal was to provide an environment where athletes could learn training principles to complete their first triathlon, or improve their performances for National Level competitions. Since that time the club has grown to include students and non-students and includes National Team Age Group winners, Ironman athletes and novices in a friendly training environment.
GTA and Surrounding Area
Ajax Pickering Triathlon Club (APTC) is a not-for-profit, OAT sanctioned club operating in the Ajax Pickering area, with a board of volunteer directors and coaches. All monies raised by the club via membership fees and sponsorships are completely reinvested into the club for the benefit of club members. APTC is coached by Head Coach Jim McLellan who brings 7 years of triathlon coaching experience, and Coach Todd McCall who is an accomplished Iron Man athlete. The APTC was created as a way for people who are passionate about the sport of triathlon, to share their passion with fellow triathletes by joining in group training with like-minded athletes, and to have a little fun while improving at our sport.

The
NYAC
Triathlon Swim Program is designed to provide a swim training
regimen for adult triathletes of all levels and experience. Our focus
is on stroke technique, endurance, strength, speed, and fun. Swimmers
can expect to log between 2000 and 4000 meters per workout. Three 90
minute swims per week, year-round, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday early

The
University of Toronto Triathlon Club is open to everyone. Our members'
abilities range from absolute novice to world-championship level
athletes. The Club's access to the Athletics Centre’s outstanding
facilities - including an Olympic-sized pool - as well as our
professional coaching staff allow us to deliver a complete training
program like no other in the GTA. During the academic year, our members
compete in the University Multisport Series, which include two races
held at U of T. In the spring and summer, members race at local and
international single-sport and triathlon races ranging from 5Ks and
super-sprints to marathons and iron-distance races. For more

The
Toronto Triathlon Club is
a great place to meet training partners and other triathletes from
the
Greater Toronto Area, while also offering opportunities to challenge
yourself personally and to celebrate your accomplishments in a supportive
and social environment. Our mission is to develop a community of multi-sport
athletes from recreational to elite who share the common purpose to:
- achieve their personal athletic goals;
- encourage individual growth and performance in the sport through
mentoring and learning;
- participate in organized group training sessions consisting of professionally
designed workouts; and
- socialize in a fun and congenial environment.
As a sanctioned club under the Ontario Association of Triathletes, the Toronto Triathlon Club offers an extensive variety of services to its members including:
- access to a certified triathlon coach for tips and guidance on proper training practices
- group training workouts, including group rides and open water swims (in season)
- an online calendar and links to race events, retailers and other service providers
- discounts at various retailers and service providers
- club social events to celebrate your accomplishments (and replenish some of those calories you'll be burning)
- insurance coverage for all OAT sanctioned events (races and group workouts)

The Fletcher's Meadow Cross Trainers
is a triathlon club for swimmers, runners, cyclists, triathlete, male
& female, of all levels in the Brampton and surrounding area.
Fletcher's Meadow is located in North West Brampton close to the
beautiful Niagara Escarpment. Created in June of 2003, our members are
interested in group training to benefit their health and well being and
are known for being friendly and helpful. Training for our group
includes coordinating outdoor running sessions year round, road cycling
spring through fall, mountain biking during fall through spring,

The Triathlon Club of Burlington
serves multisport athletes of all ages and abilities in and around
Burlington, enabling them to achieve their athletic goals in a
stimulating, supportive and sociable environment. We educate and inform
our members, having fun while participating in all the Burlington has
to offer for training and racing, and to improve sport for all.
C3 Canadian Cross Training Club
is a non-profit club connecting people of all ages with a healthy
multisport lifestyle and achievable athletic goals, through a fitness
level appropriate to each and coaching in a team atmosphere. Our goal
is to provide opportunities for individuals of all athletic abilities
to achieve improved health and personal fitness objectives.
The goal of the Durham Region Triathlon Club
is to promote and develop the sport of triathlon in Durham Region. In
an atmosphere of enjoyment and mutual respect, its members gather to
improve their fitness and skill levels as triathletes. The club offers
opportunities for safe and progressive training in swimming, cycling
and running under the supervision of an experienced and certified coach.

The Hamilton Hammerheads
program strives to instill in young athletes an understanding of and
appreciation for such concepts as high self-esteem, personal
accountability, self-discipline, goal setting, and goal achievement as
these ideas relate to their success in training and in competition. It
is our belief that the process of achieving is as significant as
realizing the achievement itself.
Blast Triathlon Club
is a Hamilton based Triathlon Club which offers coaching support. We
meet as a group once a week at McMaster University to train under the
guidance of a coach. There are various levels of athletes here and the
workouts are gauged to meet an individuals needs and goals. There are
several other opportunities to be coached at the University. Swimming
is offered seven days a week, both morning and evening. McMaster has
the National Cycling Coach and is available to assist you and help

The newly formed Grimsby Gators Triathlon/Duathlon Club
announces an open invitation for everyone from true beginner to veteran
elite to come and take part in group training sessions designed to
challenge everyone and let them work at the right level of intensity

The Windsor Triathlon Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing together multisport athletes in the Windsor-Essex County area who share the common goal of a healthy, happy lifestyle.

The Cambridge Multisport Club (CMC) was founded in the winter of 2010 and is a multisport club for adult men and women of all abilities to serve the Cambridge area. We are striving to create an atmosphere conducive to the benefits of group training and to introduce new athletes to the sports of triathlon and duathlon, providing challenging training opportunities for seasoned athletes and a welcoming social network for all members alike are also priorities for the CMC. Add Activity Triathlon Club, Add Activity Welcomes Athletes of all Ages and Abilities. No experience is needed. Training programs for Beginners and Recreational Athletes are ready to go! Runners' Choice Waterloo Multi-Sport Club
(WMC) is a non-profit organization and a proud division of the Waterloo
Cycling Club (WCC). The WMC is designed to provide a supportive
environment for multi-sport athletes of all levels, with the goal of
helping every athlete to enjoy multi-sport activities and improve their

Champion Bicycle Multisport Club
- London Ontario based Champion Bicycle Multi Sport Club’s objective is
to increase awareness and recognition for multi sport events thereby
increasing popularity of triathlon and Duathlon in London and
surrounding area. For the 2005 season Champion Bicycle Multi Sport Club
has initiated an organized training group. The training group will ride
together twice per week and is geared towards beginner to intermediate
multisport cyclists looking for some organized training, coaching,
friendship and camaraderie. Membership also includes an annual OAT

The Kincardine
Triathlon Club is made up of members
who compete and train at a variety of levels and distances. We have
every type of athlete from those who are just starting out in Triathlon
to those who have done many Ironman races. The club offers regular
training sessions all year long. These take the form of Sunday morning
group runs, spring/summer track workouts as well as regular group
rides and swims. All of our training sessions have a heavy focus
on having fun while we try and improve ourselves at the sport that
we love. The club also has within its membership certified triathlon
coaches to oversee these workouts. Members have enjoyed incredible
success in the last few years sending several triathletes to Age
Group World Championship and Ironman races around the world.
Kincardine Ontario is located on the shores of Lake Huron. It is a virtual triathlon training heaven. The town has at its disposal, miles of quiet roads for cycling, the area's best running track, a 25m indoor pool and a variety of scenic running options from lakeside to wooded trail routes.

The Saugeen Triathlon Club
started in 2008. The Club’s goals are to provide our athletes of all
abilities with an organized venue to train and practice triathlon
skills.
Most importantly our goal is to have FUN! New Members are
encouraged to participate at their personal levels with the option of
guidance by a more experienced Club “Buddy� and coaches. We serve
the central area of Grey & Bruce Counties, and have members from
Mount Forest, Durham, Hanover, Elmwood and Walkerton… so there is
sure to be a “Buddy� near you! The Saugeen Triathlon Club is an OAT
(Ontario Association of Triathletes) sanctioned Club. All Club members
MUST be members of OAT. The OAT fee is included in the Club Membership
fees. Our membership spans the entire spectrum from Newbies to Ironman.

Central Ontario & North

The Midland Triathlon/duathlon Club
is run through the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka-Midland YMCA from Oct 2003 to
July 2004. The goal of the club is to compete in the Midland Triathlon
(July 11, 2004). Club members range in abilities from those new to the
sport to members competing in numerous Ironman events and even the
Worlds. Members range from youth to seniors. The club is open to
everyone! The members meet weekly for workouts, and bi-monthly for
technical, tactical and information sessions. Education is the key to
safe fitness! We event have a social committee that plans outing every
few months. i.e. snowshoeing. The Midland Triathlon club is all about a
positive, healthy multisport experience!
East
The Runners Life Multisport Club - Runner's Life Multisport (RLM) is a Kawartha based club offering workouts and races to it's members in a variety of sports such as running, cycling, swimming and skiing.
The Cornwall Multisport Club
- The Cornwall Multisport Club is a running and triathlon club located
in Eastern Ontario. The purpose of the Cornwall Multisport Club is to
get more people from Cornwall and the Seaway Valley to participate in
physical activities. Our members may be serious at times in their
efforts at training but we emphasize having fun, making new friends who
share common interests and motivating each other to do well. Being a
member of the club gives you many benefits from discounts at stores and
restaurants to training with experienced athletes and training
partners. Another benefit is meeting new people and getting together
for social events.
The
Ottawa Triathlon Club - The Ottawa Triathlon Club is a recreational
organization dedicated to helping it's members make triathlon training
a fun part of a healthy lifestyle. The club's growing range of programs
not only help participants to prepare for participation in the sport
of triathlon, it keeps them in shape and motivated year round. Variety
is the key to physical fitness - change what you do and not only will
your body develop quicker, you'll stay motivated too. The programs
change with the season, some indoors, some outdoors, and cover a wide
range of physical activities. We even have our own clubhouse featuring
state of the art Lemond Revmaster indoor bikes.
Quinte Multisport Club
- Founded in January 2003 we are small right now. There are already top
triathletes in the club and many age group winners. The OAT Ontario
Long Course Masters Champion is also a member.
